Specialties: MADE by DWC is the Downtown Women's Center resale boutique offering a curated selection of vintage and contemporary women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. Plus, new designer fashion from LA's fashion district. MADE by DWC also provides on-the-job training and earned income opportunities for homeless and low-income women in the Skid Row community. One hundred percent of proceeds from MADE by DWC go directly to programs and services for homeless and low-income women at the Downtown Women's Center. Established in 2012. MADE by DWC is a social enterprise created by the Downtown Women's Center to break the cycles of chronic unemployment and homelessness by empowering women to discover talents and develop skills through vocational opportunities, and generates economic and social capital to support programs at DWC.
